Caption: The Calibration Light Source (CLS) that will be used to radiometrically calibrate the NIRSpec instrument on the ground prior to delivery to NASA. The CLS consists of a 60 cm integrating sphere fed by a number of lamps providing both continuum and spectroscopic line illumination to the instrument.
